Bought myself a new headset. Well ordered it over the interwebs and it arrived today to be precise. Whatever. I was expecting them to be about the size of normal fully-enclosed headphones except with a boom mic. Damn, was I wrong. They are roughly the size of the epic headgear helicopter pilots wear and, no shit, have built in subwoofers.
