Someone Want to Swap?

Two things have become official.

The first: I have been "disqualified" from UCF. In other words, they dropped my ass out. Yes, they sent me a letter basically telling me they were kicking me out. How pleasant. -_- I was supposed to have a meeting with this one lady in a week or two, who I apparently should have been seeing since the end of last spring semester, but no one told me this, but there's really no point now, I think. I'll probably just call and cancel on her soon.

The second thing: Junior confirmed that he is indeed going to need a new roommate. He's got about the same budget for rent I do, and he's already started looking for places. Because I told him to go for it. I'm going to move to Tampa by the end of this summer, unless something drastic changes.

I simply have to figure out how to break the two above to my mother...

Maybe I should wait until after my trip to WA to visit you, Sal. In case she tries to kill me after I tell her.

Sao

its ok sao... your mum will have a heart attack before she gets to kill you...

dont hurt me im only teasing, basically the best way is to just tell her, reassure her that you tried your best (whether you did or not) and explain that school just isnt for you

and thats my... 2 cents -_-

Or you can buy her some flowers and make sure you're wearing your good running shoes. Also make sure she's not holding any sharp objects.

though if its a choice, get her when shes holding smething sharp rather than blunt and heavy

...I...think I'll move to Mexico and give her a call once I'm there...

Call her when you reach Washington, nothing is farther from Florida than Washington (unless you think about Hawaii and Alaska, and nobody does)

But then I'd have to take my stuff up there with me. Or I might come back to find it all burned or on the lawn and half gone from people taking it

Ooh, it was rough telling my mom that I was moving all the way to Georgia when I turned 18, and she was sad and angry at first, but moms are very resilient. Just tell her your plans, reassure her you'll be safe and that you'll stay in touch, actually do both of those things, and once she sees how much happier you may be, then that should be enough for her.

Oh, the moving out part isn't what I'm worried about. It's the "I got kicked out of school" part.

My only advice, dont let your mom find out while you're playing video games or doing any kind of recreational activity, it only makes it worse.
