My fellow Abnormals! I am so sorry for abandoning you, but a job, family crisis, and a new school year took up my time. And yes I know, they aren't excuses. From my corner of the small, twirling world, not much has changed. I've had a few small jobs; a friend got sent to Iraq; I'm a Junior now; and am getting ready for an interview for a internship.

Since Wednesday I have had a rather trying time. It had been a series of medical horrors one right after the other. Wednesday evening, a friend needed to be rushed to the hospital with stomach flu after throwing up acid. He didn't get to see a doctor till 1 am due to a 4 car crash (teenagers drunk coming home from a party, oldest was 17) and we found out while in the waiting room that a fellow female student at my school was brought in after being raped.

Have you ever had a day when the past just comes and bites you, hard? I was having an alright day on campus-puttering on the internet and postponing my essay as long as I could. It's been forever since I wrote...OK like two weeks; but in my defense nothing really happened till this week. I've moved into my campus dorms and settled down into my classes and the wonderful drama that is campus life. I already have to read and finish it in 2 days.

I have realized something...the whole Presidential race is a shame. Though turn out is high, no one is really going to vote for a candidate. They're voting against the one candidate they hate. They don't want Billary because we don't want them again, or Edwards because he's Kerry's candidate, or Huckaby because he's Huckaby.
