Started school in August, full-time student and part-time worker and full-time homeworker, I forgot about my Commissioned peeps :(

I'll be back in force as soon as I can!

My band had its first show on Friday night, the 13th. The crowd was so electric, and we even had a mosh pit going :D In fact, the crowd reacted so well that the club asked us to play again the next night, the 14th. We did, the crowd was 1/4 the size but just as awesome.

I'm so mentally not-there that I posted a blog as a comment on my own page. Then I double-clicked to delete it and ended up deleting one of Kyp's comments. Agh.

Everything in real life is very overwhelming right now. My dad just had cataract surgery, and my mom was just diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. They both live 1000 miles away. My mom is convinced she's going to die soon.

I'm not sure if I preferred the old forums, where each post would have 500 more replies by the time you finished typing up yours and it would take a full day to catch up after lunch, or this network, where you can see that the last reply to an interesting thread was a month ago.

I had my first sparring class yesterday. I felt silly with big black boxing gloves and my awesome pink mouthguard, and I got hit a lot, but it was so much fun. And I have to remember to wear contact lenses next time, since it's no fun to box someone with glasses.
