The Ministry of Abnormality

Woot! After sittin on my ass and playing video games.. I mean.. Doing hard and important work! I got it up.

Anyways:

You might be wondering about the intro.

Me too.. Wtf? Just kiddin :D

So, thus begins the Rp, with an emo journal and a dawn, or 14.

As I said in the intro, your part will be as individuals in Groroc, a fortnight after Waxlow took over. Thats where the journal comes in.. Just lets you know about what happened and when. The bracketed things such as [Day 0] and [Day 12] is what part of the Fortnight the entry was in.

The rest is just a weird version of dates, considering I have no idea how they dated stuff back then.

Also, you might of noticed:

[See the OC thread before posting introduction!]

This is because you get to choose where you start in the city.

The city is lined out in a big diamond. Theres 5 sections. Section 1 is the Slums, the hovels and dirty houses, and the entry gate that allows you to get into the city.

Section 2 is the Market. Its a place for the ugly and the rotten to collect and sell whatever pitiful wears they have off.

Section 3 is the Merchant District. This is wear theres actual designated buildings, and where most of the cities fine establishments are.

Section 4 is the Barracks. Here is where the soldiers train. The barracks are currently very low on recruits, due to the Dawn of Steel being the only time that Yarno needed an army.

Section 5 is in the direct middle of town, and is the castle. The castle where the king, recently sick due to an unknown ailment spends his days.

Now, where you start:

A. The Streets. You can live on the streets if you want, whether you can't afford anything or your just Kaeam.

B. The Inns. Theres 4 inns.

The Red Hobgoblin, which is the cheapest and dirtiest inn, a place where nothing good happens and you'll definately find a fight.

The Dwarf and Queen, the middle-class inn, a place where you can go to not get mugged and find a room at a decent price.

The Fig and Barmaid, the upper-middle class inn, where you can find apprentices of the higher orders contemplating to themselves over the clean wooden tables.

The Star and Brewer, the royal inn. This place is where the servants of the king go to fuck lousy whores and drink there pathetic excuse for beer.

C. You can own a small home, but be warned, if you own a house it means you've been in Groroc for at least a year.

D. You can own a large home, but that means you have lived here for a very long time, probably 5 years.

E. The mansions and family houses, but unless you where born in Groroc, don't think about it.

F. The stores. If you think your character is skilled enough, feel free to live in a store that suits to your craft or profession. Or, live in a small tent where you sell your wares in the market.

Now, you start at one of these, write a neat little introduction about what you have been doing in Groroc for the past few days, and whatever else you need to say.

If you make some big mistake in your posts, then the best option is to reply to that post and explain OOCly what went wrong and what you meant to say. So for example if you accidentally describe your weapon as a steel weapon, then just reply to the post in question saying "whoops, didn't know or forgot about the steel thing, meant it to be stone/wood/styrofoam". =)

Mr. GM? Are you still able to make relevant reactions, or should we get you some more medicines? *giggle*

I agree with Pvt. Minsk. It's not a big deal if you make a mistake, as long as you try to repair the ''damage'' as much as possible :)

Anyways. I require rest, don't get too far ahead of yourselves. Feel free to talk to eachother, or plot how to get past the pit, but still, don't do anything rash and be careful not to skip anything! ^_^

Define "rash"...

Reply to This

Rash
A rash is a change in skin which affects its color, appearance, or texture. A rash may be localized to one part of the body, or affect all the skin. Rashes may cause the skin to change color, itch, become warm, bumpy, dry, cracked or blistered, swell and may be painful.

does that help?

Rash is just a word for anything thats way too over your head, stuff like a gnome trying to jump over a huge pit or a giant trying to slip into the tiny crack under the floorboards.
