Well after looking it over, from a different point of view the original post made crap sense so I revised it.
I posted this one on another forum so you might not recognize everyone the first time round.
Start at 8th level and with 9000gp
I do not like the standard way of ability scores (I assume everyone here knows how they are generally produced), so you start off with a six and add two d6 to it. Well, not you, but tell me if you're playing and I'll leave a comment on your profile of your stats.
Also please tell me what role you intend to play as, two people have already joined.
Well the back story? I made this world from the ground up (literally and figureitivly).
The standard pantheons built the world then pick and chose both evil and good lands, the evil gods divided the evil lands amongst themselves, as did the good gods. For each side of the collective gods a council was made, four from each side. This plan was chosen for each pantheon side had one representative on the council, as a way to balance each other. Every 50 years the entire assortment of gods and goddess' gathered and informed each other of the misdoings and wrongs that have been dealt to them over the past 50 years.
Changes were minor over the centuries until a group of elves became powerful enough and had gathered thousands of followers, to become gods themselves.
The evil gods shunned the elves, but the good gods welcomed them with open arms. In the abyss a deamon lord had gathered enough to become a god himself, yet was trapped within the earth for the abyss was in the earth. He nor any of his followers could conjure a powerful enough gate for him to pass through. Flying into a terrible rage he destroyed much of his realm nearly undoing the earth in the process.
All the good gods decided that if such an evil must exist, it should be trapped. The good council used their magic to bind the deamon lord to the abyss. They limited his mighty power to five gates scattered throughout the world. At these locations, however, the lord had an undeniable influence on these areas. The first was magic, near these holes the magics of arcane casters increased. The second was that the closer any creature came to the gate the more evil inclined he felt. Thus was made the five bastions of discord, thus was born gates of sorrow.
IS THAT ENOUGH FREAKIN' BACKGROUND STORY?
